Air Conditioning & Heat Pump FAQs

Clear answers about air conditioning, heat pumps, surveys, servicing, costs and local coverage. If your question is not answered, email info@proeco-services.co.uk or call 01494 377395.

ProEco Services offers a wide range of HVAC services, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial clients.

To keep your HVAC system running efficiently, it's important to have it serviced at least once a year. However, if you have an older system or if you use it frequently, you may want to have it serviced more often.

Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotations for air conditioning and heat pump installations after assessing the property and requirements. For an initial air-conditioning estimate, use our Instant Quote tool; a site survey is needed before a final itemised quotation.

Yes. As an MCS-certified installer, ProEco Services can manage the Boiler Upgrade Scheme application and paperwork for eligible installations. Current grants include £7,500 for a standard air-to-water heat pump, up to £9,000 for eligible off-gas properties replacing oil or LPG until 31 March 2027, and £2,500 for eligible air-to-air systems. Eligibility and grant values can change, so we will confirm the current position during your survey and recommend checking GOV.UK.

We work across Buckinghamshire and nearby areas, including High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Aylesbury, Amersham, Chesham, Princes Risborough, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West London. Send us your postcode and service requirement so we can confirm availability.

Yes. Modern split air-conditioning systems are air-to-air heat pumps, providing efficient heating as well as cooling and precise year-round temperature control for individual rooms or several connected spaces.

Cost depends on the property heat loss, required heat-pump output, hot-water cylinder, radiators or underfloor heating and the complexity of the installation. We complete a property survey and heat-loss assessment before providing an itemised quotation and confirming any grant support.
