Every ProEco heat-pump system is designed around the property—not simply chosen to match the old boiler. We assess room-by-room heat loss, emitters, hot-water demand and installation routes to deliver dependable comfort and efficient operation.

ProEco Services is an MCS-certified installer serving High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Marlow, Aylesbury and surrounding areas. Eligible customers can access the Boiler Upgrade Scheme through an installer-led application.
Annual servicing helps protect efficiency, reliability and manufacturer warranty requirements. We service ProEco installations and many systems installed by other contractors across Buckinghamshire.
From the first survey to commissioning and ongoing support, ProEco Services provides one coordinated service. We design each air-to-water system around the building’s heat loss, existing radiators or underfloor heating, hot-water demand and suitable operating temperatures.
A correctly designed air source heat pump can provide efficient low-carbon heating, space heating and hot water from one system, dependable year-round operation and compatibility with suitable radiators or underfloor heating. Suitability and running costs depend on the property, insulation, emitters, controls and system design.

Clear answers about heat-pump costs, grants, radiators, installation, cold-weather performance and servicing.
Eligible air-to-water heat pumps normally receive £7,500. Eligible off-gas-grid homes replacing oil or LPG may receive £9,000 for air-to-water systems until 31 March 2027. Eligible residential air-to-air systems receive £2,500. Scheme rules apply and can change.
The cost depends on the property’s heat loss, the required heat pump, hot-water cylinder, radiators or underfloor heating, electrical work and installation routes. We provide an itemised quotation after a survey and system design, with any eligible grant shown as an upfront discount.
Not always. We calculate each room’s heat requirement and check whether the existing radiators can provide enough output at the proposed flow temperature. Some may be suitable while others may need upgrading.
Yes. Modern air source heat pumps are designed for UK winter conditions. Correct sizing, emitter selection, controls and commissioning are important so the system can meet the property’s heat demand efficiently during colder weather.
Timescales depend on the property and the upgrades required. A typical installation takes several days, particularly when the hot-water cylinder, radiators, pipework or electrical supply also need work. Your quotation will include the expected programme.
Most systems should be professionally serviced every year, subject to the manufacturer’s requirements. Regular servicing supports efficient operation, reliability and warranty compliance. We maintain ProEco installations and many systems installed by other contractors.
Current Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant values include:
• £7,500 towards an eligible air-to-water, ground-source or water-source heat pump
• £9,000 towards an eligible air-to-water or ground-source heat pump at a qualifying off-gas-grid property replacing oil or LPG heating
• £2,500 towards an eligible air-to-air heat pump in a residential property
The enhanced £9,000 grant is currently available for qualifying applications until 31 March 2027.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is installer-led. An MCS-certified installer submits the application on behalf of the property owner, and the full value of the grant must be shown as an upfront discount on the quotation and invoice.
Eligibility depends on the property, existing heating system and proposed technology. ProEco Services can assess your property and explain which grant may apply.
Arrange a survey and receive clear advice about system design, installation costs, likely timescales and any Boiler Upgrade Scheme funding that may apply.
